About Us

Bee Creative Playschool strives to provide a dynamic learning environment in which children will be exposed to the socialization within the play atmosphere. The playschool allows the children to interact with their peers and helps them develop skills needed for entering school. Bee Creative Playschool works in partnership with the parents to enhance a child’s growth and development socially, physically, intellectually, creatively and emotionally. The interaction between teachers, classmates, parents and others in the community plays an important role in a child’s development.

Mrs. Genessa

Owner and Teacher of the playschools, Genessa has had a creative vision of enhancing the early childcare in the City of Beaumont for many years. She is owner of L'ecole des Petits Playschool, Bee Creative Playschool, and as of August 2024, she also owns Ready Set Grow Preschool.

She has 3 children, husband Simon, and is active in the volunteer community in the City of Beaumont, while holding her level 3 Early Childcare Diploma, and EA Certificate from Red Deer Polytechnic (formerly College). She has her Standard Child Care First Aid & CPR with AED Level B training, and is active in continuing her learning with conferences.

She looks forward to learning with your children!

Mrs. Katie

As a mom to four, wife, bus driver and the resident gymnmastics coach, Katie is one busy momma! She loves to bring her flair of activity to the playschools!

She loves to camp, watch her kiddos in ringette, hockey or playing baseball, and definitely loves her down time.

Mrs. Katie comes by teaching honestly, as Genessa is her big sister, and loves having her work with her.

Mrs. Bonnie

This married Mama of three and Gramma of three has been in the education sector since 2000.
Mrs. Bonnie has her teaching assistant and early childhood diplomas and has worked in Black
Gold school Division for over 15 years with ten of those years right here in Beaumont. She has
been a part of this community for over 24 years and was involved in various sport committees. If
you think you know her from somewhere other than the school environment, you probably saw
this face at the Painted Door on Main as she was an artist in the store as well as a part owner
before retiring. Bonnie’s love of working with kids has never waned though,once her home
started looking like a preschool classroom she knew she had to come back to it and come out of
retirement.
She loves to travel, create and spend time with her family and friends and just plain ole have a
fun time in life.

Miss. Tasha

Tasha is a mom of 5 kiddos, 3 of which still attend the other preschools. She has run a dayhome for 7 years at which point she thought it was a good idea to take her passion of working with children outside of the home. She loves to operate in song and dance, and be silly and relatable with the kids. Tasha spends most of her free time at the rink, on the field or at a recital of some sort. Looking forward to an amazing year of learning with your kids
